Jailbreakers beware! 5.1.1 is out.

Posted by Astra Technical Services on May 7, 2012

iOS 5.1.1 is out and available for download. If you are a jailbreaker on iPhone 4S iOS 5.0.1 or have a iPhone 4 on 5.1 tethered jailbreak, do not upgrade! It is not confirmed or denied yet that iOS 5.1.1 will or will not have a untethered or tethered jailbreak due to potential OS “bug fixes”.

This “bug fix” is mainly for the “New iPad” (iPad3) to fix some small stuff and make the “data connection” know how to switch from “2g” to “3G” better.

basically just don’t bother with the update…

to read more into the store check out Apple iOS 5.1.1

On the other hand, if you are a hacker/developer/person that loves to “test” the waters of new stuff. you can also test the “new firmware” on older devices (iPhone 4 (NOT S) 3G(s) )keeping in mind it’s a tethered jailbreak.
