AutoProtect iPhone Tweak (UPDATED)
Posted by Astra Technical Services on May 11, 2012
So it looks like a Developer named Fllotouch created a tweak that is very useful for all that have passcodes on their iDevice.
It’s feature is simply… Go into Cydia and if you don’t already have ModMyi’s repo just add it in… then search for AutoProtect and install it.
Once that is completed all you have to do is configure it to your network by adding the name of your network into its settings and once it knows the name of it, it will determine if you need your lock screen passcode enabled or disabled.
See video below for details…
Update-1
I have come to determine that there is 1 minor drawback to this tweak. I don’t know if it is a issue with the tweaks coding or not but after a while (or when not using a passcode), this tweak turns all emails *in my list at least* to saying “This Message Has No Content”. I don’t know if the developer knows about this issue, or if it can even be resolved. I will continue using it and hope that the issue gets worked out. Otherwise once i get “sick of it” again, I will remove the tweak or just disable it. (Details Below)
Error I encounter on my iPhone 4S (iOS 5.0.1 – *9A405*)…
Only after reboot is it back to normal (unless bypass is disabled)
